Your doctor has already determined that your pregnancy is at increased risk for a genetic abnormality or other pregnancy complications. Prenatal (before birth) diagnosis can give you additional information about the risks involved in your pregnancy, provide reassurance, and reduce unnecessary worry if your baby is healthy. It can also help you plan the management of your pregnancy if problems are suspected. Using prenatal diagnosis, we can recommend treatments to help you have the healthiest baby possible.
